Our 27 radiotherapy clinics are an essential part of local healthcare ecosystems, providing treatments for malign tumor diseases as well as benign diseases such as osteoarthritis. We also operate two diagnostic imaging practices, two outpatient practices specialising in internal medicine and oncology, and a hospital with primary and emergency care.<\/p>\n<p>We are a part of Erg\u00e9a Group, a pan-European cancer care and diagnostic imaging platform. We chose the name Erg\u00e9a to symbolise the patient-centric mindset we share across the group.\n<p>Like Western medicine itself, the name Erg\u00e9a has Greek roots. In Greek, \u00e9rgo means &#8216;work&#8217;, and yge\u00eda means &#8216;health&#8217;. The blending of these two words as Erg\u00e9a can be roughly translated to &#8220;working for health&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>This translation captures our ambition to bring better healthcare to the place where it has the most significant impact &#8211; at the patient interface. This pivotal moment marks the genesis of Erg\u00e9a Deutschland. Building on this foundation, a thriving, physician-led practice network evolved in subsequent years, committed to seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology, professional expertise, and compassionate care. From the very beginning, creating an inclusive, safe, and inspirational workplace has been a top priority.<\/p>\n<p>Erg\u00e9a Deutschland has has been established on this solid footing, and the company continues to evolve with a forward-looking approach<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are some key milestones on our journey.<\/strong><\/p>\n  <button id=\"arrow-prev\"><\/button>\n  <button id=\"arrow-next\"><\/button>\n      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ergeagroup.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/02\/Ergea_logo_orange.png\" alt=\"ergea\" width=\"120\" height=\"auto\"\/><br \/><p>2023<\/p>\n        Together with the other healthcare companies acquired by DWS in the UK and Italy, RadioOnkologieNetzwerk becomes part of Erg\u00e9a Group, a pan-European healthcare platform with a strong foothold in cancer care and diagnostic imaging.<br \/><br \/> \n\tThe network grew with the acquisition of Strahlentherapie Pasing close to Munich and opening of Strahlentherapie Sindelfingen close to Stuttgart in 2023. \n      2022\n      We acquire two radiotherapy practices in Bavaria, Strahlentherapie-Radioonkologie  Freising and Strahlentherapie-Radioonkologie Dachau.<br \/><br \/>\n\tWith the acquisition of RadioChirurgicum CyberKnife\u00ae S\u00fcdwest in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, we expand our expertise to robotics and AI technology to provide precise and personalised cancer treatment for the treatment of certain tumour types.\n      2021\n      We open two new radiotherapy practices, Strahlentherapie Appenweier in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg and Strahlentherapie Main-Franken in Bavaria.<br \/><br \/>\nWe expand our reach in Germany by acquiring an MVZ in lower Saxony and a radiotherapy practice, Strahlentherapie Leer.<br \/><br \/>\nSummit Partners sells its shares to DWS Infrastructure.\n      2020\n      We acquire the first MVZs and practices outside Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg: Strahlentherapie Osnabr\u00fcck, Strahlentherapie Frankfurt and Strahlentherapie Duisburg.<br \/><br \/>\nWe further expand the network in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg by acquiring Strahlentherapie Horb am Neckar.\n      2019\n      We acquire a hospital in Lower Saxony, Einbecker B\u00fcrgerSpital Service GmbH, which serves as the MVZ carrier company.<br \/><br \/>\nWe restructure the company as RadioOnkologieNetzwerk GmbH.\nSummit Partners, an American private equity firm, acquires shares in the company.\n      2017\n      We open a new radiotherapy practice, Strahlentherapie Sigmaringen, in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg.\n      2013\n      We extend the network in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg with the opening of a new radiotherapy outpatient centre, Strahlentherapie Neckarsulm, and with the acquisition of Strahlentherapie Baden-Baden.\n      2011\n      The network opens three more practices in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg: Onkologie Ostalb; Strahlentherapie Tauber-Franken; and Strahlentherapie, MRT &#038; NUK Schw\u00e4bisch Gm\u00fcnd.\n      2010\n      The second radiotherapy outpatient centre, Strahlentherapie Rems-Murr, is opened.\nA new company, RadioOnkologieNordwuerttemberg GbR, is established to manage the growing network of practices.\n      2008\n      Dr Sandra R\u00f6ddiger and Dr Ralf Kurek establish the first radiation therapy practice of RadioOnkologieNetzwerk in Aalen, North W\u00fcrttemberg.
