The Erg\u00e9a Group has been formed through acquisitions in the healthcare sector, bringing together companies with distinct and complementary business models and company cultures.<\/p>\n<p>With medical doctors establishing the strategic course in our Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee, Erg\u00e9a Group is a physician-led organisation that, by default, places patients and healthcare professionals at the heart of the healthcare system. We chose the name Erg\u00e9a to symbolise the patient-centric mindset we share across the group.<\/p>\n<p>Like Western medicine itself, the name Erg\u00e9a has Greek roots. In Greek, \u00e9rgo means &#8216;work&#8217;, and yge\u00eda means &#8216;health&#8217;. The blending of these two words as Erg\u00e9a can be roughly translated to &#8220;working for health&#8221;. The translation &#8216;working for health&#8217; captures our ambition to bring better healthcare to the place where it has the most significant impact &#8211; at the patient interface. Since then, we&#8217;ve become the leading provider of technological innovation and required organisational frameworks across diagnostic imaging and cancer care in Italy &#8211; driven by our excellent service record and commitment to supporting local health ecosystems.<\/p>\n<p>As we move forward, we remain committed to serving our customers in the same spirit of partnership, diligence and integrity that have helped us gain their trust.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are some key milestones on our journey.<\/strong><\/p>\n  <button id=\"arrow-prev\"><\/button>\n  <button id=\"arrow-next\"><\/button>\n      2025\n      Medipass acquires Clinica del Tendine and Fisiomedic, two outpatient centers in Cesena specializing in physiotherapy, which also offer diagnostic services and specialist consultations. The goal is to diversify and expand the service offering, meeting the needs of a patient base increasingly focused on prevention and rehabilitation.\n      <br \/><br \/>\nThe Ecomedica Specialistica joint venture is established, located in the same building as Ecomedica Spa, with the aim of providing an even more comprehensive range of healthcare services and better meeting patient needs through additional specialized and diagnostic services.\n<br \/><br \/>\nA collaboration is launched with the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, part of the San Donato Group, to strengthen the Radiotherapy Department.  \n      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ergeagroup.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/02\/Ergea_logo_orange.png\" alt=\"ergea\" width=\"120\" height=\"auto\"\/><br \/><p>2023<\/p>\n      Together with the other healthcare companies acquired by DWS in the UK and Germany, Medipass becomes part of Erg\u00e9a Group, a pan-European healthcare platform with a strong foothold in cancer care and diagnostic imaging. <br \/><br \/>\nMedipass acquires Poliambulatorio Etruria, an outpatient centre that provides diagnostic imaging and specialised medical care to public and private patients in Marzabotto.\n      2022\n      In partnership with University Hospital Gemelli, Medipass supports the evolution of radiopharmacy adding further dedicated laboratories to clinical research, bringing patients access to precise and personalised cancer diagnoses and treatment. <br \/> <br \/>\n\tMedipass transforms the Nuclear Medicine department at Miulli Hospital in Apulia by managing a full PET-CT clinical service.\n      2021\n      Medipass establishes the Nuclear Medicine department at University Hospital Campus Bio-Medico in Rome and manages a full clinical service including PET-CT. \n      2020\n      DWS Infrastructure acquires Medipass Italy and Medipass Healthcare (UK). Meanwhile, two advanced radiotherapy centres are under construction in Sardinia and Apulia.\n      2017\n      Medipass acquires Ecomedica, an outpatient centre that provides diagnostic imaging, endoscopy, radiotherapy treatments and specialised medical care to public and private patients in Empoli.<br \/><br \/>\nMedipass introduces MRI-Linac technology in Italy and Europe in partnership with University Hospital Gemelli ART (Advanced Radiation Therapy).\n      2011\n      Medipass Healthcare Ltd was founded in London to support the NHS in the UK with Managed Equipment Services (MES) in radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging.\n      2010\n      Medipass implements the first clinical service contract in radiotherapy in Italy for private accredited hospital.\nThe company is acquired by KOS Group, one of the largest private healthcare groups in Italy focused on the provision of long-term care services.\n      2008\n      Medipass expands into internal production of radiopharmaceuticals as part of a clinical service contract.\n      2005\n      Medipass builds the first fully outsourced PET facility with a radiopharmacy unit, including a cyclotron for the production of special tracers, at University Hospital Gemelli in Rome.\n      2002\n      Medipass introduces the first PET-CT scanner in Italy as part of a contract with a public hospital and develops a unique PET training centre for three university hospitals.\n      2001\n      Medipass implements the first clinical service contract for installing and operating a PET scanner in a public hospital in Italy.\n      1996\n      Medipass implements the first clinical service contract for installing and operating an MRI  in a public hospital in Italy.\n      1990\n      The company founders begin to provide consulting services for hospitals and private clinics to support the implementation of MRI activities, the most advanced diagnostic imaging technology of the time.\n\t<h2>Our locations<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\tBologna\n\t\t\t\t<p>We have several operations in Bologna, including our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Via+Ilio+Barontini,+20,+40138+Bologna+BO,+Italy\/@44.498803,11.361114,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x477fd4ae23bef257:0x5a40bdd847b38af!8m2!3d44.498803!4d11.361114\">Italian headquarters<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our outpatient centres <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicapoliambulatori.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Medica Polambulatorio<\/a> in San Giovanni in Persiceto (Bo) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicapoliambulatori.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centro Medico Poliambulatorio<\/a> in Anzola dell&#8217;Emilia (Bo), enable high-quality diagnostic imaging and specialised medical care to approximately 100,000 residents living in the Pianure area.<\/li>\n<li>As part of a PPP contract with Bologna ASL (Local Healthcare Authority), we manage six<a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicapoliambulatori.it\/chi-siamo\/centri-diagnostici-del-gruppo\/\"> outpatient diagnostic imaging centres<\/a> in Casalecchio di Reno (BO), Crevalcore (BO), Molinella (BO), Pieve di Cento (BO) and San Pietro in Casale (BO).<\/li>\n<li>Since planning, implementing and installing the diagnostic imaging department at the privately accredited <a href=\"https:\/\/www.villalaura.it\/\">Hospital Villa Laura<\/a> almost ten years ago, we have provided ongoing clinical services to the hospital.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>We have a long history of collaboration with the private hospital <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casacuratoniolo.it\/home\">Casa di Cura Madre Fortunata Toniolo<\/a>, with a contract renewed in 2023 for a significant technical and organisational innovation plan of their Diagnostic Imaging department through an innovative partnership scheme.<\/li>\n<li>Our outpatient centre <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poliambulatorioetruria.it\/\">Poliambulatorio Etruria<\/a> provides diagnostic imaging and specialised medical care, integrating the healthcare offering in an under-served area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\tRome\n\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Since launching our successful partnership with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.policlinicogemelli.it\">University Hospital Agostino Gemelli<\/a> almost 20 years ago, we have implemented the most advanced technological innovations through turnkey projects for the Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy departments. We continue to provide various clinical services to the hospital, supporting the facility in delivering high-quality patient care, sophisticated research and teaching.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We established the Nuclear Medicine department at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.campusbiomedicohospital.com\/\">University Hospital Campus Bio-Medico<\/a> in 2021, which we have managed since then.<br \/><\/p>\n\t\t\t\tMilan\n\t\t\t\tThe collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grupposandonato.it\/strutture\/policlinico-san-donato\">IRCCS Policlinico San Donato<\/a>, part of the San Donato Group, was established with the aim of revitalizing and strengthening the activities of the Radiotherapy Unit through:\n<ul data-start=\"256\" data-end=\"629\">\n<li data-start=\"256\" data-end=\"444\"><strong data-start=\"258\" data-end=\"283\">Technological renewal<\/strong>, including the supply and management of a state-of-the-art linear accelerator, the upgrade of dedicated information systems, and advanced ancillary equipment.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"445\" data-end=\"629\"><strong data-start=\"447\" data-end=\"478\">Organizational optimization<\/strong>, through the contribution of specialized medical personnel, medical physicists, healthcare technicians, nursing staff, and administrative personnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThese efforts aim to ensure the availability of the most advanced treatment techniques for an increasing number of patients in the province of Milan and the Lombardy region.\n\t\t\t\tCesena\n\t\t\t\tWe operate two outpatient centers: <strong data-start=\"28\" data-end=\"129\">Clinica del Tendine and Fisiomedic<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.centrofisiomedic.it\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"102\" data-end=\"125\">www.centrofisiomedic.it<\/a>). Both centers specialize in physiotherapy and rehabilitation and are equipped with specialist clinics and imaging diagnostic services, some of which are also covered by the regional health service.\n\t\t\t\tOlbia (Sassari)\n\t\t\t\t<p>We have provided clinical services for the Department of Radiotherapy at the private accredited hospital <a href=\"http:\/\/www.materolbia.com\">Mater Olbia<\/a> since managing its planning and turnkey installation in 2021, establishing one of Italy&#8217;s most advanced radiotherapy units, featuring innovative technologies allowing adaptive radiotherapy to patients in Sardinia.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tVenezia Mestre (Venice)\n\t\t\t\t<p>Our collaboration with General Hospital <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aulss3.veneto.it\/Ospedale-dellAngelo-Mestre\">Ospedale dell&#8217;Angelo<\/a> began 25 years ago with MRI and PET-CT technology. We continue to support the departments of Radiology and Neuroradiology through an MES contract, enabling the functioning of the diagnostic equipment and ensuring the availability of consumables.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tCampobasso\n\t\t\t\t<p>We planned and implemented the Radiotherapy department at the private hospital <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gemellimolise.it\/\">Gemelli Molise<\/a> in 2019, and we continue to support the hospital through our integrated clinical services offering.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tAcquaviva delle Fonti (Bari)\n\t\t\t\t<p>At the private <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miulli.it\/\">General Hospital F. Miulli,<\/a> we planned and implemented the Radiotherapy department in 2019 and the PET-CT department in 2022.
