With the publication of the official resolution, Medipass | Erg\u00e9a Hospital Partnerships officially starts its partnership with the IRCCS “Fondazione G. Pascale” National Cancer Institute<\/strong> in Naples to develop Nuclear Medicine services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project involves both the Pascale Hospital and the Ascalesi Hospital and represents an important step in the development of Nuclear Medicine services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is the first Public-Private Partnership (PPP)<\/strong> applied to Nuclear Medicine services in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is based on Medipass | Erg\u00e9a Hospital Partnerships’ Hospital Partnership<\/strong> model and goes far beyond the supply of medical equipment. Its aim is to deliver a complete service by combining infrastructure, technology, technical staff, maintenance and operational management within a long-term partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the partnership, two new PET\/CT systems will be installed: one at the IRCCS “Fondazione G. Pascale” National Cancer Institute<\/strong> and one at Ascalesi Hospital<\/strong>, each configured to meet the needs of the two facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Pascale Institute, Medipass | Erg\u00e9a Hospital Partnerships will support the Nuclear Medicine department by providing specialised technical staff and taking responsibility for the maintenance of the technological equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, a new Nuclear Medicine department will be created at Ascalesi Hospital, including a radiopharmacy laboratory, dedicated patient areas and all the facilities required for clinical activities. The project includes the design and construction of the new spaces, installation of the equipment and long-term operational management of the service, creating the conditions for the sustainable development of the Institute’s Nuclear Medicine services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A partnership focused on quality<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the key features of the project is the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) <\/strong>model, which allows the public and private sectors to combine expertise, resources and responsibilities to deliver public healthcare services, always keeping patient care and quality at the centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within this model, the Institute retains full clinical responsibility, while Medipass | Erg\u00e9a Hospital Partnerships provides investment, technical expertise, technology and organisational capabilities to design, deliver and support the service over time. This allows the hospital to rely on continuously available technology, planned maintenance and guaranteed service levels throughout the partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project also includes digital tools to optimise patient pathways and monitor performance indicators, helping healthcare professionals and making diagnostic processes even more efficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investment will strengthen the Institute’s diagnostic capacity by providing state-of-the-art technology and an efficient service model, improving access to care, reducing waiting times and helping to meet the healthcare needs of the local population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
