Ergéa UK and RFiD Discovery – the UK’s leading location tracking specialist, are pleased to announce their participation at EBME Expo 2023. This joint presence at the exhibition marks a significant milestone in the growing partnership between the two companies.
This will be the third occasion Ergéa and RFiD Discovery have joined forces at EBME, and the first since Althea UK and Medipass Healthcare rebranded as Ergéa. Marking their partnership at the event, the two companies will build upon their ongoing collaboration that delivers ground-breaking location tracking solutions to UK hospitals.
Over the last three years Ergéa and RFiD Discovery have implemented location tracking solutions for over 30,000 devices to improve compliance of scheduled maintenance and reduce the impact of non-serviced assets. The service also aims to help minimise over-stocking of equipment, reduce wasting clinical time looking for equipment and, above all, improve patient safety.
This year attendees can expect to witness RFiD Discovery’s full range of healthcare tracking solutions including their new smart cabinet for stock management of implants and a pioneering indoor wayfinding solution for hospitals, along with Ergéa’s Transformation Services, a comprehensive offering that goes beyond the traditional MES model by treating technology as an enabler rather than equipment itself. These services can include a collaborative re-design and optimisation of patient pathways, future capacity planning, modernisation of facilities, training, maximising benefits from digital technologies and analytics.
The partnership between Ergéa and RFiD Discovery exemplifies a shared commitment to innovation and delivering transformative healthcare solutions. Both companies are consolidating their work together with the aim of supporting hospitals to deliver outstanding patient care by ensuring all tagged medical devices are serviced and compliant with MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) standards.
